Prize-winning! LO Metrix is proud to have received a Red Dot Design Award 2025

Lista Office LO can proudly report that LO Metrix was selected for an international Red Dot Design Award in the 2025 Office Design and Equipment category. The pioneering modular storage system, with its hugely versatile variants and design quality down to the last detail, impressed the jury of 43 experts from 21 different countries.

The digital transformation continues apace, and the Covid pandemic also brought huge changes to the way we work. In recent years, the role of cabinets and filing systems has developed; traditional storage is giving way to new opportunities for these ubiquitous office furnishings. No longer stuffed with paper and files, the new generation of storage units is multifunctional, mobile, and modular. LO Metrix unites the best characteristics of shelving, storage, and room division in a single smart system. Every detail has been carefully thought out, and a wide range of accessories is also available, so that the system extends usage horizons well beyond its own physical boundaries.

Future-oriented: the key to sustainability

If a system is to offer maximum flexibility in display and usage – for example, a freestanding unit in which recesses and gangways are introduced at suitable locations – then it must guarantee stability. This robust flexibility is exactly what the LO Metrix solution has to offer. The patented connectors make assembling, reassembling, and restructuring the units easy, quick, and fun – and thus ensure that the storage system can be adapted fluidly whenever requirements change.

“LO Metrix is our ‘Best of’ in our storage portfolio, with essentially unlimited usage and layout options”, says Remo Wüthrich, Product Manager at Lista Office LO. “We are proud that this high quality design has been recognised by the Red Dot Design Award 2025. It’s very encouraging and will motivate us to keep focusing on top design quality in every last detail, and thus create future-oriented products for the next generation.”

Red Dot acknowledges superb design quality

The Red Dot Award for product design is one of the best-known international design competitions. Established in 1955, it recognises products with excellent design quality. In 2025, submissions poured in from over 60 different nations, to be judged by an independent jury of 43 experts from 21 countries, including designers, professors, journalists, and consultants. The products were assessed based on criteria for design quality, functionality, attractiveness, use and sustainability.
